1. Install DAEMON Tools Pro Trial

2. After the installation, disable the internet connection and close Daemon Tools Pro Agent.
Close/Exit DAEMON Tools Pro and DAEMON Tools Pro Agent. 
Start Task Manager and End Process of DTAgent.exe (if it's still loaded) and DTShellHlp.exe to unload them from RAM.

3. Copy MSIMG32.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Pro\ (for Windows 64-bit)
or to C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Pro\ (for Windows 32-bit).

4. Copy the new dtpro.dat to C:\ProgramData\DAEMON Tools Pro\ , overwriting the old one.
Note: In Windows XP the old dtpro.dat should be located in
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\DAEMON Tools Pro

5. Import to the registry the ConnectionSettings.reg

6. After that run DAEMON Tools Pro and go to:

Help --> License --> Change --> Paid License --> Enter the serial (see below)  to activate 
(ignore the message about the connection error)

7. If the license is still unvalidated then exit DAEMON Tools Pro 
and copy again the dtpro.dat from the pack
to C:\ProgramData\DAEMON Tools Pro\ , overwriting the old one.

or in Windows XP the old dtpro.dat should be located in
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\DAEMON Tools Pro

8. Don't forget to disable update checks before you go online again.
