Head:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnd 3: *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in 2nd sc*, repeat from * around = 15 sc
Rnd 4: *Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 20 sc
Rnd 5: *Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 25 sc
Rnd 6: *Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 30 sc
Rnd 7: *Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 35 sc
Rnds 8-13: Sc in each sc around

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing – you will use this piece of yarn to
sew the head on to the body. Position and insert safety eyes - stuff head
firmly. Do not sew opening closed.
Ears: (Make 2)
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around
Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. Do not stuff ears.
Bow:
With Pink Yarn -
Row 1: Ch 7
Row 2: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn = 6 sc
Rows 3-6: Sc in each sc across.
Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing.
To Form Bow:
1. Weave in short piece of yarn (where ch was started) to center;
2. Weave in long tail to center;
3. Pinch center and wrap long tail around 5 times;
4. Thread long tail through needle and secure by running under the wrapped
yarn. Do not trim yarn – you will use this sew the bow on to the head.
Finishing Head:
1. Fold and cup ears, sew ears on head..
2. Thread needle with pink embroidery floss – sew mouth.
3. Thread needle with black embroidery floss – sew whiskers.
4. Sew bow on one ear.
5. Weave in all excess yarn.
Body:
With White Yarn, Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnd 3: *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 15 sc
Rnd 4: *Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 20 sc
Rnd 5: *Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 25 sc
Rnd 6: *Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 30 sc
Rnds 7-11: Sc in each sc around
Rnd 12: *Sc in next 4 sc, sc 2tog*, repeat from * around = 25 sc
Rnd 13: *Sc in next 3 sc, sc 2tog*, repeat from * around = 20 sc
Rnd 14: *Sc in next 2 sc, sc 2tog*, repeat from * around = 15 sc
Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. Stuff body firmly. Sew
opening closed (this will be the bottom). Flatten bottom so kitty can stand.
Thread needle with piece of yarn from head – sew head on body. Weave in
yarn.
Arms: (Make 2)
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnds 3-8: Sc in each sc around
Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. Do not stuff the arms. Sew
arms just below head, weave in yarn.
Legs: (make 2)
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnds 3-5: Sc in each sc around
Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. Lightly stuff the legs. Sew
legs on body, weave in yarn.
Diaper:
Use pink felt for the diaper (See Diaper Schematic below). When you are
cutting the diaper, make sure the legs will fit through the opening on the
sides.
Wrapping Diaper:
1. Place cut felt on flat surface.
2. Place kitty, back side on diaper.
3. Bring one end of diaper in toward tummy, bring other end toward
tummy, bring bottom up to cover ends.
4. Use a small safety pin and pin diaper in place.
NOTE: If you do not want to use pink felt for the diaper, you can crochet
as follows:
Crochet body to Rnd 6 in white yarn; work two more Rnds with white yarn;
Join pink yarn – continue to crochet and complete body.
Pacifier: (Opt)
Cut a piece of pink yarn about 10” long and thread through opening of
pacifier, leaving one end of the yarn a little longer. Wrap the longer piece of
yarn around neck twice, with the yarn pieces in back of head. Tie the two
yarn pieces into a bow in back.
Note: I bought the tiny pacifier from Michaels.
