1. Make sure your computer meets the requirements: Intel Core i5 or i7 processor 8GB or more of RAM 100GB or more of free space on the hard drive Preferable 7200 RPMs hard drive, 5400RPM will work too but might be slower 2. Copy all files from DVDs to computer in the same place. 3. Install WinRar and unpack the VMs also install adobe reader if you don't have it. 4. Install VMware workstation 8. 5. Open the configuration pdf file and follow the instructions to setup connections.(install adobe reader if you don't have it to open pdf files) 6. If your ICOM is not detected most likely you need to update the firmware on your icom. Check your icom firmware, you need 01-11-01 for system and 01-15-01 for application. If you don't have this version use the firmware included to update your icom. 7. Do not change other settings because you will have problems and will need to unpack and copy again the VM. 8.
