APPLICATION
The TP192 provides both temperature and pressure relief in
unvented hot water packages or other pressurised water
applications. Available in two temperature settings of 90˚C and
95˚C and can be factory set to any pressure between 2.0 bar
and 8 bar. The TP192 should be fitted in the hottest part of the
system which is normally in the top 20% of the storage vessel.
Low profile design.
WRc approved for use on potable water.
Conforms to BS 6283 Part 3.
BBA assessed as suitable for unvented
systems.

TP192
Installation
The TP192 should be fitted in the
hottest part of the system which is
normally in the top 20% of the storage
vessel.
The valve can be mounted vertically or
horizontally, but if mounted
horizontally then the discharge should
point vertically down or horizontal. If
this valve is being used to replace an
existing valve then it is essential that
it has the same temperature and
pressure rating as the original. The
temperature and pressure rating
required is preset by the vessel
manufacturer and is supplied by them
already fitted to the unit.
NOTE. It is essential that any
discharge from this device is carried
to a safe place where it will not harm
the occupier of the building.
If installed on an unvented system a
tundish must be used with no more
than 9 metres of continuously falling
drain pipework of one size larger than
the nominal diameter as the outlet.
Refer to BBA Guidance Notes or
Building Regulations for specific
requirements.
Ordering Specification
When ordering the TP192 please state clearly the inlet connection size, the
required temperature relief setting and the required pressure relief settings, in
increments of 0.5 bar only.
eg TP192 – 1 2 ”, 90˚C, 3.5 bar.

Servicing
The factory sealed unit should provide
long service free operation. Designed
to reduce the effects of calcination
build up, the valve should be operated
at least once a year to ensure it can
still function correctly. In any event all
work carried out on this valve or its
replacement should be done by a
competent installer, trained in the
installation of unvented hot water
systems.
